red burgundy vs. oregon pinot noir

Line Em Up: Red Burgundy Tanglin’ With Our Own, Oregon Pinot Noir ($20)

Friday, March 3rd, 2017 4 pm – 7:30 pm @ Mt Tabor Fine Wines

Do you really want to learn about wine? I mean really learn. This flight is a prime example of a great way to study Pinot Noir. You have the benchmark, Burgundy, tasted next to the second best place in the world for Pinot, which is Oregon (in my opinion). And we’re hoping the 2003 has held up so you can see what age does to many great Pinots.

Someone asked me the other day, “What is it about wine that you love?”

I like to learn and tell stories about where the wine comes from, the history of the winery, and the way they grow and make the wine. I guess it’s my roots in South Carolina. Tellin’ story. (We, as opposed to our sister state, feel, when you gotta go you gotta go… anywhere! Trust me, I promise!
