Mt. Tabor Fine Wines is a local, neighborhood wine shop in the Hawthorne area of Portland, Oregon. We are focused on searching out limited production, hand-crafted wines from wineries and estates with one goal in mind: quality. Each and every wine brought in is carefully selected. Nothing enters our southeast Portland shop unless we feel it is at the top of its class for quality and value. Among other great wines from other great regions, we proudly feature some of the smallest, hardest to find, highest quality Oregon Pinot Noir producers in the Willamette Valley.

Our goal is to develop relationships with all of our customers, whether they are in Portland or elsewhere in the U.S. We want to get to know their palates. With their individual tastes in mind, we can suggest wines from many regions around the world and enable them to enjoy a wide variety of the pleasures available in the world of wine. Since we are able to ship wines to most states in the U.S., you can always call or email the shop if you'd like a wine shipment put together for you.

While we are a local Portland wine shop, we carry a wide selection of top quality wines from every wine region known to man. Whether your passion is Bordeaux, Burgundy, the Loire, Italy, Austria, Germany, The Northwest, or California -- we can help.

Over the many years we’ve been in business here in Portland Oregon, we’ve developed some very close relationships with some of the tiniest, “quality at all costs” Pinot Noir producers in the Willamette Valley of Oregon. Not only are many of these Oregon Pinots not available out of state, most only sell to a few wine shops and restaurants in Oregon. Throughout each year we do Pinot Noir offerings on some of these fantastic Oregon wines. The only way to get these Oregon Pinot Noirs is to respond to our offers. The quantities of these incredible pinots are so small these wines don’t even make it to our retail shelves! Our Pinot Noir offers will be posted to this site as they become available. And, don't worry. We can ship wine to most states in the U.S. So, if you aren't lucky enough to live right here in Oregon, give us a call or send us an email and, if we can make a wine shipment to you, we will.
