Jan 21st 2011: Red's From France's Rhone Valley

We’re just back from an amazing 2 weeks in Maui and we’re rested, restored and ready to rock. 2011 is looking like the come back year we’ve all been looking for over the last few and signs indicate good things to come. We look forward to seeing our friends and many familiar faces this Friday to toast our first tasting of many great tastings to come in 2011!

As many of you know I am of the opinion that some of the best values in the world of fine wines come from the South of France’s Rhone Valley. Whether you’re drinking the simple Cotes Du Rhones or the legendary Chateauneuf-Du-Papes the best examples offer extraordinary value. Very seldom will you find one of the great wines of the world, capable of improving in the bottle for 20+ years, often evolving into a drop to the knees experience, for around $40- $50 like many Chateauneuf’s. And we’ll be offering many different levels for your enjoyment this Friday at everyone’s favorite wine shop right there at 43rd and Hawthorne. Head to the Mount………………….Tabor Fine Wine Shop!
