Aug 20th 2010: It's Dundee Hills Pinot Noir Month!
We’ll be breaking our usual Friday tasting format in that we’ll have 5 Dundee Hills wineries in the shop to pour their latest wines. In all there will be 11 wines poured. There will be 3 whites ( Chardonnay, Pinot Gris and a beautiful old vine Melon) and 8 Pinot Noirs from 3 different vintages. There will be 5 pouring stations and each winery will be pouring their own wines. Upon entering the shop you will be given a glass and can then go from winery to winery and ask questions or just taste and enjoy. The wineries are eager to talk about their wines and you are encouraged to ask questions. As usual, we will provide bread from Grand Central. This will be a great opportunity to check in with what is arguably the finest terroir in Oregon for growing the fickle Pinot Noir grape.
As usual when we do these type of events we will be offering some incredible “today only” prices in support of Dundee Hills month.
