THE LESS TRAVELED WINE ROADS OF FRANCE ($15) Friday, September 21st/ 4- 7:30

20 Sep

If you love wine and want to learn more about it this tasting is for you! One of the things I love most about wine, aside from drinking it, is the learning process. You could make it a lifelong pursuit to become an expert on French wines and learn all about Bordeaux, Burgundy and The Rhone Valley. As soon as you’re feeling secure in your knowledge along come wines like these; Mondeuse from Savoie, Tannat from Madiran, Duras and Brocoul from Gaillac………..you see where I’m going. I don’t care how long you’ve been a student, each and every Country has wines like these. That’s what makes it so fascinating. You’ll never know everything and people who claim they do are fools. So it is with this tasting that you can learn a great deal. A tasting like this doesn’t happen that often. That’s why I love our Less traveled tasting series of Italy and France. You can find some real jewels in areas you didn’t even know existed!
