Come help us celebrate the beginning of the July 4th mid-week. It seems like, with the 4th falling on a Wednesday, we’ll have about a 10 day holiday………..I think? Anyway, we’ve got a great lineup of mostly 2009 Bordeaux with our workhorse $12 “great buy” Chateau Les Rosiers coming in with their new 2010. Both vintages are about as good as it gets. The 2009’s are plush, lush and actually make drinking young Bordeaux a pleasant thing, which isn’t always the case when you have leaner vintages with firm tannins. The tannins in these 09’s are buried in deep, dark liquid velvet. I was really happy that I was able to find some killer “name” Chateau for great prices and was able to lower the price of the tasting and make the wines even more affordable for you to purchase and lay down for future enjoyment.
